What this shelf is for
These are the six cuts that do something a plain tank cannot: a shoulder left bare, a back left open, a seam ruched down one side so the fabric gathers where you want it to.

Will a Darong off-shoulder top stay on your shoulders?
It depends on the knit, not the cut, and this is where a rib with recovery earns its money. Ours are cut from the same rib as the basics. An off-shoulder top in a fabric with no spring slides down your arm by the second drink.
What do you wear under a Darong backless top?
Nothing, on the cuts with a shelf bra sewn in. On the rest, adhesive cups: the back is open to the waist and there is nowhere for a band to hide.
