How we update prices and sizes

The catalogue was last updated on September 12, 2026. That date belongs on this page and on no other: a date printed under every price turns into wallpaper and stops being read.

What we refresh, and how often

Prices go first. Every cut in the Darong basics is re-priced on a schedule, and the figure you see on a card is the one from our last update rather than a number typed in by hand a season ago. Where a price here and a price at checkout disagree, the checkout is right. That is the till, and this is a catalogue.

Size ladders and colourways move more slowly, and they move together: when a colourway sells through, its sizes stop being offered before the colourway disappears. We take a piece off the site when it stops being available, and it comes back on the next update if it returns.

Where the numbers on a page come from

Every count on this site, from the 78 cuts, 157 colourways, to the size run in a shelf header, is read out of the catalogue when the page is built. None of them is typed into the prose. That is why they agree with each other across pages, and why a number that changes changes everywhere at once.

What we do not do

We do not price against anybody else, and nothing here is ranked by what it earns us. The order on a shelf is the depth of the review pool, deepest first.

Telling us something is wrong

A wrong figure is worth more to us than a polite one. Write to seam@darong.org and it is corrected in the same week, on every page it reached.
